I had a mixed experience at Ph Hostel. On one hand, the location was fantastic, just a short walk from many attractions. However, I found the room to be underwhelming and not up to the expectations set by the photos. The cleanliness was decent, but I did notice issues with the shower facilities that could use improvement.

My stay at Ph Hostel Liverpool was a mixed experience. I really liked the location, just a short 5-minute walk from the city center, which made exploring easy. The dorm beds were comfy, though I wasn’t a fan of the stacked bunk beds that could be tricky for some. Unfortunately, I did face some noise issues from renovations, which dampened my overall relaxation. Despite that, the cleanliness of the place was commendable, and I valued the social atmosphere as well.

The bunk beds in my dorm were comfortable enough, but the three-tier stacking wasn't ideal for everyone. There was a bedside locker too, although it was awkwardly placed.

My stay at Ph Hostel Liverpool was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, close to everything I wanted to explore. However, I faced several issues, including noisy surroundings and uncomfortable accommodations that left much to be desired.
Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had a mattress that felt like it had sunk in the middle after just one night. The overall cleanliness was below expectations, with issues like a foul bathroom and thin walls which made for a noisy environment. On the brighter side, I was moved to a private room for my last night that was noticeably better, featuring decent shower pressure and better amenities.
Service
5.0
The service experience varied; I encountered unhelpful staff who seemed disinterested when I faced issues with my booking and room. There was a clear lack of organization as my belongings were moved without notice. However, there were some moments where staff were friendly and accommodating.
Location

The location was a strong point, right in the city center, making it easy for me to access major attractions and nightlife. Being close to a multi-story car park was also convenient.
Dining

Dining options were limited, and the breakfast provided wasn't noteworthy. The lack of basic kitchen supplies added to the frustrations, making it hard to prepare meals.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities left much to be desired; the shared bathrooms were not clean, and there were issues with shower facilities. Additionally, there were constant building works which detracted from the experience.

My stay at Ph Hostel Liverpool had its highs and lows. The location is great, being very close to the city center and various attractions. However, I faced issues with noise from other guests during the night, which made sleeping difficult. The bathrooms were clean but showed signs of wear, and the breakfast offering was limited and ran out quickly, leading me to seek food elsewhere.
Rooms

My dorm was clean, but the walls were thin, causing disturbances, especially at night. The beds were also squeaky and not the most comfortable, which impacted my sleep quality.
Service

Breakfast was included, but the options were minimal – just cereal and toast, and I faced a long wait to access it. I wished for more variety, especially for a warm breakfast.
Facilities

The kitchen was okay but lacked some essential items, and cleanliness seemed to decline during my stay. There was also only one communal shower for women, which could be inconvenient.
